Henry Medical Center
Custom Development
Introduction
Henry Medical Center is a rapidly growing, 215-bed not-for-profit community hospital located in Stockbridge, Georgia, with more than 400 physicians on staff and nearly 500 nurses. Southern Web Group has worked with the HMC organization since 2001, and when their needs grew beyond those for a basic brochure-type website, they consulted us for ways to better serve the needs of the community and streamline operations with more advanced website functionality.
Challenge
As the facility grew over the years, managing verification of health care providers for insurance companies became an operational headache. To better facilitate the rapid, accurate verification of physician employment for insurance providers, Henry Medical Center requested a customized online physician verification tool to certify the veracity of insurance claims with its insurance provider network.
Solution
"When the time came to update the Henry Medical Center website, Southern Web Group made the process easy. The final result is a website that is extremely user-friendly and visually attractive. Thank you Southern Web Group!"

Volunteer Services
Southern Web Group revamped Henry Medical Center’s existing physician database so that insurance providers can verify physician status independently, receive up-to-the-minute certification results, and print a certification letter in just minutes. Our custom web development application also allows hospital admins to add, edit and delete personnel as necessary to keep the data current and accurate.
Results
As a result of our custom web-based physician verification system solution, Henry Medical Center can now point all insurance providers to an online certification system that carries only the most current information. With a few keystrokes, information can be obtained easily without the need for paper, faxing, postage or mailing delays. Now, claims can be paid quicker and with greater accuracy than ever before, benefiting the patient, hospital operations, and the insurance providers.
