There’s an emergence of parody accounts on Twitter.  According to Twitter’s help pages, “Twitter users are allowed to create parody, commentary, or fan accounts. Twitter provides a platform for its users to share and receive a wide range of ideas and content, and we greatly value and respect our users’ expression.”

Here are 10 accounts that are demonstrate Twitter’s users’ expression, and then some:

Bio: I don’t care what you think of me. You care what I think of you. Of course this is a parody account.

BPGlobalPR
Bio: This page exists to get BP’s message and mission statement out into the twitterverse!

Real_BP_CEO
Sample Tweet: “For the record we did not hide information about the oil leak. We never bothered to gather the information in the first place.”

FakeAPStylebook
Sample Tweet:  You may refer to him as Cap’n Crunch to others, but you must still salute him in person.

Michael_Bay
Bio: The original imposter. All others are imposter imposters.
Sample Tweet: “Hardest part of the day is picking out which one of these denim shirts I’m going to wear.”

FakeParamount
Bio: The great all knowing film company! (This is all satire and I expect you all to take it as satire. This is not affiliated with Paramount)
