- Google Sitemap
We'll create a comprehensive Google Sitemap, submit your sitemap to Google and verify the results. A Google sitemap can be helpful as it instructs Google to the exact location of all the pages of your website. - Yahoo! Search Site Explorer
We'll submit your site to Yahoo! Search Site Explorer and authenticate your website's feed with Yahoo!. - Open Directory Project
If you're not already included, we'll submit your site to the Open Directory Project. The Open Directory Project is the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. Many search engines, including Yahoo!, Google and MSN use this directory. - Ask.com Submission
We'll submit your sitemap to Ask.com. - Major Search Engines Submission
If you're not already included, we'll submit your site to Google Search, Yahoo! Search and MSN Live Search. Together, these three search engines comprise nearly 77% of all search engine results, according to Neilsen NetRatings. - Title and Meta Tags
We'll research and create unique title and meta tags for up to 5 static pages. - Robots.txt Instructions
We'll create a robots.txt file to instruct the search engine where to look -- and where to avoid. - Page Not Found
We'll add "Page Not Found" code so that browsers or search engines will be directed to a landing page to inform the user their page could not be found. - Redirect Traffic
If you have multiple domains or have submitted your site with domain.com and www.domain.com, we'll help set a preferred domain. - Domain Renewal
If your domain name expires in less than 3 years, we'll renew it with our registrar for no additional charge (A $75 value). Tell the search engines that your website will be around for years to come. Use of the Search Engine Starter Service does not imply guarantees on search engine rankings and performance. Submission to sites does not guarantee inclusion. The search engines and directories mentioned may change your site's positioning at any time based upon their discretion. Should the client choose to renew their domain with Southern Web Group's registrar as part of the Search Engine Starter Service package, additional fees may be charged upon the expiration of the domain renewal period in order to renew the domain. While clients do not necessarily have to host with website with Southern Web Group, FTP access is required for this service.
